Several years ago CNN, as well as a local television program called: P.M. Magazine, did two separate stories dealing with this unusual but growing trend called: Tooth Tattooing. It has become popular thanks to media coverage. Many view this as their own personal private tattoo and also makes the trip to the dentist something to look forward to. What makes Crown Dental Lab unique at this process, is that instead of just painting the picture on the surface of the crown, I inlay bit by bit colored porcelains and then shape it into the character. After, I cover the picture with clear porcelain, which gives the artwork a magnifying effect. The final process, I highlight the picture with surface staining.  All stains used in this process have been developed by myself and is exclusive to Crown Dental Lab.  There is an additional charge for this process and is determined by the complexity of the art work.
